Join a magic coven of Edinburgh Witches on this spellbinding city walking tour!

Learn from a local Witch on the spellbinding Edinburgh Witches & History Walking Tour. Explore the dimly lit closes and spooky wynds of Edinburgh’s Medieval Old Town. Watch out on the cobbles as you lend your ears to terrible tales of the Witches of Scotland. Tread lightly as you walk on the very ground these mysterious and sometimes sinister events occurred.

You will visit on your adventure; Castlehill, Edinburgh Castle*, Lady Stairs Close, The Writers Museum*, St Giles Cathedral*, Parliament Sq, Victoria Street, Grassmarket, Candle Maker Row, Greyfriars Kirkyard and a myriad of narrow closes and crooked streets along the way.

There will be history and legends, hearsay and folklore. Listen in awe at these fascinating and chilling stories from the past.

The term Witch is most commonly associated with the Female of the species… but in these modern times and indeed in cases throughout history male Witches can also be simply referred to as Witch!  So whether Witch, Warlock, Wizard or Sorcerer, whoever you are, we invite everyone to join this magical coven.

Learn from the very best Witch in town of the wicked history of Scotland. Travel back through the ages and even discover for yourself what your very own Witch speciality might be.

Spellbinding Historical & Fun Fact Tour of Edinburgh

Magically entertaining and historically educational walking tour with fun and interesting facts about witches in Scotland and Edinburgh through the ages! Loved it and would highly recommend for something a bit different to do for a evening. Our Guide was enchanting, enthusiastic and welcoming. The walk itself was not too arduous and the time flew by as we were kept engaged throughout.

My friend and I went on this tour and it was so much fun! The tour guide was so great and easy to hear, which for me is always an issue. It was easy to find the location for the meet-up and staying with the walking tour was easy. Edinburgh is very hilly but the tour was designed so that we pretty much only went down. It poured rain on us the entire time but we still laughed, walked, and learned along the way. I highly recommend! Super great for kiddos and families as well as couples. It was fun to be a witch for a day.

Had a great time and learned something new

Best thing was our tour guide, who managed to keep us enthralled and enchanted despite the soggiest weather even Edinburgh has ever seen. Although I'm from here and knew some stories, I still discovered something new and I think anyone visiting would absolutely love it. You really get a sense of Edinburgh's scary (child friendly), bizarre and unique necromantic history and storytelling.
