Escape the city for a day of fun on this tour of St Andrews & the V&A Museum. Start your tour at 8.15am from Edinburgh, before heading north in the direction of Perth to your first stop – The V&A Dundee. The Victoria and Albert Museum in Dundee offers an array of artifacts and is the first of the V&A Museums to be based outside of London.
After exploring the museum, your tour takes you to St. Andrews, home to the third oldest university in the English speaking world, three beaches, world-famous golf and St. Andrews Castle and Cathedral ruins. Wander through this charming town, notable for its wide, handsome streets, stately architecture and magnificent medieval ruins. The route then includes a stop in Anstruther, one of Fife’s quaint fishing villages. After a full day of exploring the ‘Kingdom of Fife’, your return journey offers spectacular views of the iconic three bridges over the Firth of Forth, before returning in Edinburgh late afternoon.
