From Inverness, join the Isle of Skye & Eilean Donan Castle tour for a unique day filled with history, majestic scenery, glittering lochs, and iconic images of Scotland.

This tour offers you some of the most dramatic and breathtaking landscapes Scotland has to offer! See Loch Ness, visit Eilean Donan Castle, wander through Portree, gaze at Kilt Rock, and much more on this Skye tour from Inverness: capital of the Highlands.

Your friendly and knowledgeable guide welcomes you, while you board the luxury, air-conditioned coach. After departing from Inverness, you will travel to the south, along the shorelines of Loch Ness. Loch Ness is 23 miles long and is deeper than the North Sea. It is, however, probably most famous for its sightings of the Loch Ness Monster, affectionately known as ‘Nessie’. The first stop is in Invermoriston, allowing the chance to see the monster yourself!

After your visit to Loch Ness, the journey continues on to Eilean Donan Castle. Built in 1220, this is one of Scotland’s most photographed castles. It is situated on an island at the head of Loch Duich, where three great sea lochs meet. Here, you can take some time to explore the castle and its stunning surroundings.

The Isle of Skye & Eilean Donan Castle tour continues to the Isle of Skye. Your next stop is Portree, the capital of the Isle of Skye, also known for its picturesque harbour. Enjoy a leisurely walk to the harbour or visit some of the local shops. Whatever you choose, there is plenty of time to explore this small, yet bustling village. Its beautiful surroundings of rocky cliffs and rolling hills, make it a perfect stop to have lunch and enjoy the stunning views.

After your visit to Portree, the tour takes you to other points of interest in Skye. This includes Kilt Rock, where you can enjoy amazing coastal views. And from Lealt Falls you can take a short walk to admire the Old Man of Storr.

Before returning to Inverness, your last stop on this tour is at Strome Viewpoint. Here you can take some memorable photos of Loch Carron.

Enjoy a unique tour filled with experiences and lasting memories of Scotland!
