Take Tayport Distillery Tour and see the processes by which different spirits are made and sample along the way!

Tayport Distillery was established in 2017 with an ambition to create premium craft spirits that could claim were wholly Scottish. They have a full distillery licence and produce spirits from the grain by mashing, fermenting and distilling in-house. Surrounded by barley fields for use in Scotlands whisky industry, they have great support from local farmers.

Since the start, Tayport Distillery Tour has added new craft spirits to their range including Gin, Vodka and Fruit Liqueurs. In 2020 they opened the doors to the public to share their labour of love that makes a craft spirit. In doing so, they can now share with the public the processes involved in premium spirit-making.

On your Distillery tour, the family team will great you and seat you in the heart of the distillery. You will get to hear about all of the spirits they make and the processes behind the products.  There will also be plenty of samples of the core range along the way! You will leave feeling inspired and knowledgeable about making and mixing great craft spirits.

There are public access links directly outside the facility. The distillery is a 10min drive from Dundee Train Station and Leuchars Train Station. It is on the Fife Coastal Path and very close to the River Tay and Tentsmuir Forest.
