Overview

Take the Whisky Tasting and Storytelling tour – sample scotch whisky and learn more about how it’s made.

This is not a walking tour, but instead a whisky tasting complete with history and storytelling.

Taste 4 deliciously different whiskies while taking a journey into the history of whisky in Scotland. Learn about its profound importance within Scottish culture.

Going hand in hand with whisky drinking in Scotland is storytelling, which is the purpose of this whisky tasting and storytelling tour. In fact some say that they are the 2 pillars of Scottish culture! A main focus of this tour is 4 entertaining stories that tie in with whisky in Scotland. For each whisky you taste you will hear a related story. Hear stories told in an entertaining manner and weave seamlessly between history and folklore to give this tour its entertaining edge. Whisky tasting and storytelling- the perfect Scottish combination.

Whisky has had an incredible influence on the history of Scotland and the history of Scotland has had a big influence on its whisky too! You will hear about the carefully selected 4 whiskies from  the 4 main whisky making regions of Scotland. You will be able to enjoy a whisky from each of the following regions – Lowlands, Highlands, Speyside and Islay.

Each whisky brings its own taste and character and we find that each of our guests comes out of the whisky tour with a favourite region.
