This steeper and deeper section of Bruar Falls finds you committed to a stunning journey. Travel down a series of incredible waterfalls that include tow-tier slides and technical cliff jumps.
You and your fellow canyoners will abseil from a 22m waterfall and explore the deep ravine base. In conclusion, if you’re confident with heights and looking for the next level up, then this is the Canyoning Experience in Scotland for you.
It is sometimes named canyoneering or gorge walking; however, the Canyon itself ultimately defines canyoning’s exploration nature.
You will explore the route that the water makes through the canyon. Begin at the top of the canyon and descend following the water as it flows through, around and over everything in its path.
The Falls of Bruar are a series of waterfalls on the Bruar Water in Scotland, about 8 miles from Pitlochry. Probably formed in the last 10,000 years by melting glaciers at the ending the last ice age. The waters gradually cut the rock which had been pushed up by the geological forces which formed the Scottish Highlands around 500 million years ago.
The rocks’ layering means that the water has cut a meandering path. This has caused the creation of deep pools and outcrops. In one place a wonderful natural arch. The falls consist of two large falls and several smaller drops.
Steep and Deep – experience BIG hits for MAXIMUM fun!
